Remaining 2024 Availability Released

I have been receiving an increasing amount of booking enquiries of late. Not only for this year, but also for next (I must be doing something right!). Therefore, I thought it would be prudent to get the following information ‘out there’ so to manage people expectations, in addition to providing the opportunity for any prospective clients to plan ahead accordingly.

Fully Booked for 2023

If you were considering contacting me about a session this summer, autumn or early-winter, I am booked to my personal capacity for the remainder of 2023 I’m afraid. However, I do receive the occasional cancellation, or more likely, a request to reschedule. Therefore, I am more than happy to invite emails in this regard, whereby I will place you onto my ‘reserves list’ as it were.

2024 Availability

As I’m sure you’ll appreciate, I am extremely loyal to my regular or returning clients, in addition to those who I have previously guided. Therefore, should you wish to enquire about my availability for the 2024 season, when you receive my reply to your enquiry/email you will notice that a very high percentage of the dates are already taken/booked. The 70cm+ Gang!

Just to whet the appetite, I have enclosed a gallery (below) of the 12x 70cm+ bass that my clients have landed whilst being guided by me since I took the well-researched, well-informed, and well-prepared decision to become a full-time, professional bass lure fishing guide. To date, the assembly of grinning faces includes 2x beauties of 73cm (one in daylight, and one in darkness), 2x 72cm specimens (again, with one apiece within the day and night), with the other eight magnificent bass all measuring between 70-71cm.

In case you’re wondering, four hammered a white Savage Gear Gravity Stick (pulse tail or paddle tail), three of the consequential captures above took a white or silver Needlefish, one snared a pearl-coloured Albie Snax, two grabbed a white, Wave Worm Bamboo Stick, one smashed a white OSP DoLive Stick, and the final monster mangled a Keitech Easy Shiner in Sight Flash.

Prices and Information for 2024

One-to-One 8 Hour Sessions:

• My One-To-One 8 hour sessions will be completed in April and December at a price of £170. 
• If the person booking wants to add another angler the price is £250, with the total for a 3rd angler being £300.
• * A deposit of £50 is required to secure each position.

Guiding Days:

• My 8 hour ‘Guiding Days‘ are between May and November and are for a minimum of 2 anglers (unless one angler insists on 1-2-1 tuition and is willing to pay for the fee for the whole day). * I am happy however to guide 3 people on these Guiding Days providing you are coming together, and are therefore, already acquainted *
• NOTE: You do not need to ‘find’ a fishing companion in order to partake on one of the Guiding Days, as I can ‘pair up’ the singletons as it were. 
• Prices for the 8 hour Guiding Days are as follows:
• 1 angler – £300 (if 1-2-1 tuition is insisted on)
• 2 anglers – £150 per person
• 3 anglers – £110 per person
• * A deposit of £50 is required to secure each position.

3 Day Packages:

• My popular 3 Day Packages are for 3 people (you do not need to know one another, and you can come as a singleton to join the other two anglers) incorporate 6x 4 hour guided sessions over 3 days/night of fishing, and include 3 nights BB (Double en-suite room per person, plus full English breakfast each day) at the excellent Chillington House BB Hotel (Chillington House – South Devon Bed and Breakfast Hotel) just down the lane from me.
• The price is £539 per person
• * A deposit of £200 is required to secure each position/set of dates.

Something Extra:

• Guided sessions to encompass 4-7 days for 1-4 anglers – Price on request
• Guided sessions tailored to one individual – Price on request

Terms and Conditions:

• A deposit is payable (per session/day/position) on confirmation of booking.
• A disclaimer/liability release form will need to be completed prior to venturing out fishing – as this validates my public liability insurance.
• I reserve the right to cancel/reschedule a session should I consider the weather/sea conditions unsuitable or dangerous *A full refund of the deposit will be issued if an alternative date cannot be arranged/agreed*
• I operate purely to a 100% Catch and Release policy – no exceptions.
