Bass are such beautifully wild creatures, and providing there is no increased risk to the fish being returned safely I will always endeavour to capture the moment. The way their dark, grey, golden or green-tinged back gives way to those stunning silver flanks is further enhanced by the blue hue in their spectacular fins when they’re photographed at night. They truly are a wonderful, mysterious and eye-catching species of fish.
