HOW do you determine what a BASS LURE FISHING ROD is? Are there any VISUAL or immediately noticeable PERFORMANCE indicators? And most importantly, HOW does it differentiate from a Spinning Rod?
In this, the first of my longer form videos aimed at the Beginner/Novice, I describe the differences between a designated ‘Bass Lure Fishing Rod’ and what is commonly referred to as a ‘Spinning Rod’ from both a VISUAL and a PERFORMANCE PERSPECTIVE.
It is a minefield out there, with a common occurrence in the course of my Professional Guiding at South Devon Bass Guide Ltd being a client unknowingly purchasing a rod that is unsuitable in regards to action, length, power, and casting weight range to name only a few of the components/parameters.
Therefore, I hope this video helps you decide what to purchase in the first instance, so that you get it right first time. And remember, you DO NOT need to spend the earth!
